Dental school is prime time for you to start implementing and practicing important concepts and skills that will help you excel and kick butt in the real world. Many of these concepts (provided for you in the 4 following videos) are major concepts that I wish that I started thinking about, practicing and implementing when I was in school. Dental school is a wonderful foundation for your future skills. It is a great time for honing and defining your skill sets. Be aware of mistakes and errors in school. That's part of learning and improving! Watch the first video of the Maverick series on the main page. SEE and ACCEPT that issues and problems are OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOU TO FIND SUCCESS. Your brain is like any muscle that can be re-trained to see the opportunity and potential in any situation.
That's how a Dental Maverick thinks and that's how a Dental Maverick kicks butt and succeeds wildly in life. A Maverick doesn't accept failure and doesn't blame his/her situation on external forces that he/she cannot control. Mavericks take control of their lives and learn how to succeed.
